    Hi, this is the 006 release of Kapitaal Records.

    It is the audio recording of the second Kapitaal Sessies: Flevoland + Pierre Zylstra as shown on the the Kapitaal Youtube channel.
    The Kapitaal Sessies were initiated by our friend Sjekkiee: "Musicians want to play, Kapitaal has the space and we know some good visual artists = GOLD!'
    Flevoland: Ultrasmooth retro-futuristic popmusic from Utrecht, The Netherlands.
    Pierre Zylstra: Photographer and long time friend of Kapitaal ánd Flevoland.
    This art-cassette is filled with limited Pierre artwork printed at Kapitaal, analog printstudio and occasional club.

    Rough mono recording of the Flevoland liveset in Kapitaal.
    Opaque yellow cassette (ferro tape) in transparent snapbox and beautifully screenprinted cartboard box. The package contains stickers by Pierre Zylsta and a usefull RGB pie-chart handprinted by the Flevoland bandmembers.

    Hi this is the Flevoland releaseparty-poster.
    On the 18th of June '23 the Flevoland + Pierre Zylstra Kapitaal Sessies tape was released at the Tweetakt festival in Utrecht. The A2 poster is hand-screenprinted at Kapitaal. White and black ink on yellow paper. The poster wil be send in a stirdy kartboard container.

Hi, this is the 006 release of Kapitaal Records,

A project initiated by our friend Sjekkiee during the first 2020 Covid-19 lockdown. Leave it to him to check out the newest sounds -in-and around- our Utrecht based screenprintstudio.

Flevoland is something else:
Yso van der Meer + Jurian Beunk make ultrasmooth
retro-futuristic popsongs for dreaming, desiring and long distance driving (did you install a cassetteplayer in your wind energy powered Tesla yet?)...
For this release we hooked the Flevoland duo up with photographer Pierre Zylstra for some heavy atmospheric imagery to compliment the Flevoland sound. Before we knew it, the three hit the studio to create a glorious soundscape to grace the B-side of this Kapitaal Records 006 tape.
